I am a principal solutions architect in IT, where I have worked for 27 years. Away from the office, I'm a fan of classic (melodic-style) rock music and similar genres, and I run a modest personal website under my nom-de-plume of 'Adrian the Rock' which includes features about those artists I enjoy most. Music has meant so much to me over the years I wanted to give something back to the artists, most of whom are far less well remunerated that I am. My site includes websites for a few local bands I'm fond of. I also enjoy photography and sometimes take gig photos for the site. My other interests are railway signalling and gardening. There's something uniquely relaxing about going home in summer and spending half an hour going round the flower beds - it gets me close to Earth after a day embroiled in technology at the office!
